We are looking for a candidate who values the importance of building, developing and supporting high-performing technical teams. You will be responsible for a maintenance department with over 130 dedicated employees located at our bases in Norway.
Key responsiblilities:Team leadership, process improvement, system implementation, performance management, communication and collaboration facilitation.
Role description:The role will include assuming the position of Nominated Person for Part 145 and their overall purpose is to ensure the Bristow Norway fleet is maintained to group Policy and that company policy and procedures fully comply with regional and client requirements, whilst delivering the highest industry standards at all times. The role will lead the management of all aspects of Bristow Norways Maintenance Operations. This purpose includes:

Ensuring all resources are available to accomplish maintenance to the expected standards

Adherence to and promotion of company Safety Policy

Optimisation of the maintenance process to achieve the highest Airworthiness standards and maximum aircraft availability

Contributing appropriately to development of Bristow Group Maintenance Policy and lead the Bristow Norway Maintenance Team to foster a common Group maintenance culture.

Ensure the sustainability of the Bristow Norway workforce.
Maintenance Management -
Fulfil the roles and responsibilities of the Nominated Person for Part 145 as required by EASA and the Norwegian Aviation Authority (CAA) and Bristow Group requirements.

Ensure adherence to all relevant continued airworthiness management requirements in accordance with EASA Part 145.

Ensuring the Maintenance organisations compliance with company SMS and Occurrence reporting responsibilities

Ensure engineering operations are efficient and optimised to deliver maximum availability of BNAS AOC aircraft and any other aircraft operated for or on behalf of BNAS.

Ensuring appropriate Supplier Evaluation and support arrangements, in line with group Policy.

Ensure provision of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify planned work activities.
Lead and manage a team of Engineers to ensure delivery of safe operations. Maintain and develop the capability of the engineering team.
Financial:Supporting the Part 145 Accountable manager with the development of budget in line with group standards

Control of costs within the approved budget.

Supporting the development of external customers and revenue as required by Part 145 Accountable manager and Group Policy
Safety and Communication: -
Championing Safety initiatives within the engineering department.

Ensuring that the safety practices are implemented and adopted in line with AOC and Group requirements

Ensure staff are fully trained, briefed, and informed.
Operational -
Maintain processes which are aligned with group policy and within the regulatory requirements in the context of the company approvals
Liaise with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager for matters affecting continued airworthiness and aircraft availability.
Liaise with Bristow Central Technical Services in relation to Pt 21 activities.
Ensure all engineering facilities and office accommodation operate to Part 145 standard with an appropriate working environment.

Ensure provision of compliant storage facilities for the necessary parts, tools, equipment, and materials to perform the planned tasks to Part 145 standard.

Establishing and implementing corrective actions following Audits.

Alignment of Maintenance organisational structure and compensation and benefits management is aligned with Bristow Group Policy.
