We are now looking for a Market Manager at Hitachi Energy Norway. You will be part of an exciting journey with interesting challenges and opportunities along the way. The energy landscape is currently undergoing a major transition, driven by technological development and climate change. At the same time, Hitachi Energy is transforming in line with the market and developing new business models.
Our clients are based in Norway as well as internationally. This results in a wide range of tasks and requires the ability to understand how we deliver value to different customer segments and markets.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant, extensive experience. Depending on your background, we will provide training and support to help you grow into the role. The person currently in this position will move on to new challenges within Hitachi Energy and will remain nearby as a mentor to support the new employee.
Your responsibilities-
Accountable for building a long-term and sustainable pipeline for the Norwegian market.

Close collaboration with Account Managers to implement our global strategy within the country organization.

Based on market outlooks, preparing proposals for market strategies, leading their implementation, and removing obstacles when needed.

Ensuring high data quality in Salesforce, our tool for managing opportunities and pipelines.

Participating in and, when required, leading Capture Teams.

Preparing and regularly updating strategic growth plans, market outlooks, and monthly sales reviews including forecasting.

You are a driven and self-motivated person with strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and build long-lasting relationships.

You preferably hold a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar.

Experience from key customer segments such as Utilities, Industry, Data Centres, or Renewables is an advantage.

You have the ability to solve problems and think creatively to achieve the best results.

You are organized, structured, and able to work towards deadlines and within established processes.

You have good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
