Electrical Engineer - modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS

One of our clients in Bergen need an experienced Electrical Engineer with the “can do” spirit that is motivated by challenges in a hectic working environment. Must have minimum 5 years+ relevant experience from Norwegian offshore projects.

Qualifications:

• Technical College, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within electrical engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years’ experience

• Additional electrician certificate is an advantage.

Job description/Work tasks:

• Contribute in CTR-activities/bid, both installation and project related

• Study and project execution within drilling facilities on fixed platforms

• Electrical field engineering

• Supplier follow-up

• Field hook-up engineering

• Work packages

• Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation

• Offshore surveys, installation follow up or yard stay can be actual

• Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work

• Contribute to project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks

• Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers

Experience/ Knowledge/Certificate

• Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV and IEC.

• Experience with modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS

• Preferable experience within ***some or all***the following areas:

• Power distribution systems with load calculations

• 3.rd party hookup and documentation (Z015N)

• Drilling equipment and systems

• Winterization, heat tracing with power distribution

• Engineering and design of the above mentioned

• Trained for and experienced with EX , Exi and ATEXequipment and regulations

• Experience with project deliveries and key customers’ expectations

• Experience with all relevant laws, regulations and standards according above mentioned topics

• Offshore training + heath certificate

• Preferable familiar with following programs: Autocad, Febdok, Client systems like PIMS, SAP, Stid, Stidloop, Procosys, and others, MS Office software

ASAP -- 31.12.26, with possibilities for extension

Work location:

Bergen, 5 days week
