At Laerdal, immersive technology helps transform healthcare education and quality worldwide. Our mission is ambitious but clear: help save one million more lives, every year, by 2030. And yes, we believe great social media plays a role in that.
Now we are looking for a Social Media Manager who is creative, curious, and ready to shape how our story is told globally.

Why you’ll love this role

You will own and develop Laerdal’s global social media presence. That means strategy, creativity, experimentation, learning, and impact. You will get to work closely with colleagues across countries, cultures, and disciplines, turning complex topics into engaging, human stories.
You will join a diverse, multicultural team of 12, based in Stavanger and Bangalore. We take our work seriously, but keep a loose and creative atmosphere. We collaborate closely, support each other, and genuinely enjoy solving challenges together.

What you’ll do
  • Own and evolve our global social media strategy

  • Create engaging content and campaigns across channels

  • Turn insights, products, and stories into content people actually want to see

  • Track performance, spot patterns, and learn what works (and what doesn’t)

  • Coordinate and moderate global social media communities

  • Ensure a clear and consistent brand voice across platforms

  • Stay curious about trends, tools, formats, and best practices

  • Use analytics to guide decisions and report on performance

  • Support campaigns and projects that build awareness and promote our solutions

What you’ll need to succeed
  • A genuine passion for social media and digital storytelling

  • Hands-on experience with major social media platforms and management tools

  • Experience with video and photo editing as well as digital content formats

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills

  • Expert communication skills in English, written and spoken

  • A good eye for visuals and strong social listening skills

  • An interest in trends and the future of social and digital content

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized

What we offer
  • A meaningful role contributing to a life-saving mission

  • A creative, inclusive, and international work environment

  • Great opportunities for professional and personal development

  • A company driven by innovation and forward-thinking technology

  • Competitive salary, pension scheme, and insurance

  • A generous welfare program including discounted public transport, indoor bicycle garage, wardrobe with towel service, social and sports groups, company cabins, and more
