Assignment Description

Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer looking to contribute to complex offshore energy projects? Join a high-performing team in Stavanger where you will play a key role in planning and executing commissioning activities, ensuring safe and efficient system handover.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and offshore personnel, contributing to project success through structured commissioning and strong technical expertise.

What You'll Do

• Define system boundaries and prepare commissioning documentation

• Develop commissioning procedures and ensure quality execution

• Establish and manage commissioning scope within project systems (PCS)

• Prepare job cards and handover documentation (dossiers)

• Contribute to FAT procedures and participate in FAT at vendor sites

• Interface with offshore teams and support coordination when required

• Maintain and update project plans and commissioning progress

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure smooth system completion

Who You Are

• Relevant technical education (Skilled worker certificate or Bachelor’s degree)

• Proven experience in commissioning within oil & gas or similar industries

• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and system handover

• Experience with procedure development and job card preparation

• Good process and multidisciplinary understanding

• Experience with MIPS, Procosys, and TIME

• Proactive mindset with focus on efficiency and continuous improvement

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams

• Fluent in Norwegian and English
