Technical Trainer (m/f/d) Filling Machines

Do you want to combine hands-on technical knowledge with creative learning design?

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Trainer to join our Global Technical Solutions team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality technical training on Elopak’s filling machines to both internal teams and external customers worldwide. You will not only teach but also shape the future of technical learning by applying modern didactic methods and creative approaches.

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging technical training sessions globally for internal and external customers on new and existing packaging machinery.
• Develop blended learning programs that combine classroom, digital, and hands-on training using modern instructional design principles.
• Use learner-centered approaches, active learning techniques, and innovative tools to make complex topics easy to understand.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities to maintain hands-on expertise and up-to-date knowledge.
• Produce high-quality training content such as videos, images, and 3D models, leveraging creative media and digital tools.
• Continuously explore and implement emerging trends in technical training, such as microlearning, gamification, etc.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accurate and current training content.
• Attend relevant courses to maintain and expand your technical and didactic skills.

The position can be located near any of Elopak’s offices in Europe and involves a higher amount of travel.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a completed technical apprenticeship with relevant experience
• Background working with filling machines, within the beverage, dairy, or packaging industry, e.g. in field service or similar, technical roles
• Experience in technical training or instructional design with knowledge of modern training methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning tools is a plus.
• High willingness to travel (up to 75%), mostly in central Europe
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Arabic are an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license; EU citizenship or valid EU work permit (visa sponsorship not available).
