Now we’re looking for an F&B Manager / Executive Chef at Home Hotel Atlantic, Sandefjord in a Maternity cover, who wants to be part of our family.

Home Hotel Atlantic is located in the coastal heart of Norway’s "Whaling City," Sandefjord. The building itself has a long and rich history, and the hotel is vibrant and modern. We offer our guests breakfast, coffee and a small dinnerbuffet  which are always included in the price. The hotel emphasizes the homely feeling, while maintaining high professionalism.

 What you’ll be doing:

• Overall responsibility for all F&B operations, including staff management, menu planning, financial control, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations – all within the framework of our established and unique concept, but with plenty of room for personal creativity and impact.
• Develop and follow up on routines for quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring the team has everything they need to deliver food of the highest standard.
• Ensure strong collaboration between the kitchen, the restaurant team, and other departments through close communication and active participation in internal meetings.
• Lead and train kitchen staff, while fostering a positive and productive work environment in line with the hotel’s goals and culture.

This is a temporary position, in a maternity cover for a 100 % contract with a start date July 1st or to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

• Have experience from a similar managing role in a hotel, restaurant or kitchen.
• Are flexible and reliable, with a passion for creating great food and experiences.
• Turn challenges into opportunities, managing multiple tasks, and keep high standards, even when things get tough.
• Have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Speak and write norwegian and english fluent
