For our client, Coates Elektro, we are now looking for an Electric Motor Rewinder who have a dream of working permanently in a modern workshop located in Østfold in the south of Norway.

You will be joining a well-established Norwegian family-owned company, so proficiency in either English or Norwegian is essential for effective communication.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years’ experience from industrial or automotive field.

• Rewinding of electric motors.
• Performing mechanical work related to electric motors, generators, and gear systems.
• Repairing engines and generators of all sizes in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
• Conducting testing and test runs.
• Preparing detailed repair reports.
• Maintaining high quality of services, in accordance with customer recommendations.

• At least 3 years of experience with rewinding, repairing and testing engines and generators and mechanical skills.
• Education in professional motor rewinding for motors ranging from 0 to 400 kW, along with a mechanical background.
• Experience with wining machine, electrical testing equipment.
• Communicative English or Norwegian.
• In case of proficiency in English, the ability to learn Norwegian and achieve basic proficiency within six months is still expected.
• Ability to cope with high work pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• A cooperative working attitude.
• A high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.

Other than that we offer the following:

• Norwegian contract with all its benefits, such as insurance, pension contributions and holiday allowance.
• Competitive salary – during first 6 months 300 NOK per hour gross, after 6 months 350 NOK per hour gross.
• Stable working hours from 08:00 to 16:00, with a 30-minute break.
• Access to additional training opportunities, including Norwegian language courses, forklift certification, and crane operation courses.
• Assistance with finding accommodation, covered for the first three months. Afterward, the cost will be approximately NOK 10,000 per month, including electricity.
• Covered first flight ticket to Norway.
