Lead and improve production planning at Ekornes

We are seeking a proactive and structured Planning Manager to lead and elevate our production planning at Ekornes. As Planning Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping our future planning function. We are stretching towards industry best practices to become a strategic advantage in our industrial operations. You will lead a small team and collaborate across functions to build structure, accuracy, and flow, always seeking improved production techniques.

As Planning Manager at Ekornes, your key responsibilities will be:

• Take lead and manage the production planning process to deliver efficiently, in full, on time and budget.

• Oversee workflow and track production to ensure common KPI `s are met and exceeded

• Contribute to seamless communication and collaboration with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders

• Responsible for internal reporting on statuses and suggest improvements to improve productivity and reduce costs

• Support and drive improvement projects and initiatives across disciplines

• Lead by example

We are seeking a results-oriented and analytical leader with a proven track record in production or operational planning -- preferably within industrial or high-volume manufacturing. You are structured, decisive and solution-driven, with the ability to build trust across departments and keep a firm grip on details when needed. You have strong communication skills, thrive in complex environments, and enjoy improving systems, processes and teamwork. Experience with planning and inventory management systems is preferred.

You will lead a small team of 2 direct reports, with indirect coordination responsibilities across several production units. The role is located at our headquarters in Sykkylven, Norway, and reports to Kariann Sandvik, VP Plant Ikornnes & Aure.
