Position: Full-time engagement untill October - with possibility of permanent placement!
Start: March - April
Working hours: A mix of early, mid, and late shifts, including every other weekend
Candidates must be available for training within the specified period. We need employees who can start working on a shift schedule immediately after completing training.
A Ramp Agent with us works inside the Oslo Airport sorting facility (PMZ) or outdoors at the gates where aircraft are prepared for parking or new departures (RAMP).
Upon hiring, candidates will be assigned to one of the departments and may be moved between departments as needed.
The main tasks for a Ramp Agent include:
• Performing necessary safety procedures.
• Preparing necessary equipment within the specified timeframe and safety requirements.
• Loading and unloading aircraft.
• Reporting deviations or incidents to the nearest supervisor.
The main tasks for a PMZ Agent include:
• Sorting luggage.
• Loading luggage and preparing for outbound/inbound transport.
• Transporting luggage between aircraft and the terminal.
• Assisting the Ramp department with aircraft arrivals.
Position Requirements
• Clean criminal record (required for working at the airport).
• Driver’s license (Class B) and access to a car (due to work tasks and working hours).
• You must have lived in an EU/EEA country for the past five years.
• Ability to document work experience or education over the last 5 years.
• Ability to work according to the assigned shift schedule.
• Good proficiency in English (both spoken and written); the ability to communicate in a Scandinavian language is desirable.
If these requirements are not met, employment will not be considered.
Personal qualities and qualifications:
• Strong communication skills, driven, and self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and solution-oriented.
• Enjoy working in physically demanding outdoor conditions, even in challenging weather.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking.
• Direct experience in the aviation industry or logistics will be a plus.
