As ROV Supervisor on board, you will be responsible for the ROV maintenance and ROV operations. You will be expected to exercise judgement, set priorities and schedule work to keep ROV(s) routinely and preventively maintained, operational and equipped for meeting project requirements. In addition, you will have overall HSEQ responsibility and will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Working Environment Act.

To be successful in the role, we are seeking highly motivated individuals with strong analytical thinking skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, and demonstrate effective communication in writing and presentation. Proficiency in the use of computers and software is also essential.

Key responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Offshore Manager plan the coming ROV activity.
• Delegate responsibility to team members according to qualifications.
• Ensure that the ROV is operational at all times.
• Plan routine maintenance
• Keep track and order spare parts for ROV system and sensors
• In collaboration with the Offshore Manager ensure that all operations are performed according to the various Clients’ Specifications, and that all operations are performed in an efficient way.
• Have knowledge of Reach Subsea Quality Management System, and ensure the system is implemented on-board.
• Establish and maintain a good working environment on the ROV team.
• Participate in familiarisation meetings.
• Prepare Technical Reports.
• Perform Personnel Performance Appraisal of all new crew members, and/or personnel preliminary working in a higher position.
• Ensure that new personnel receive familiarisation on the actual systems, and are given adequate training, according to a planned program.
• Inform Offshore Manager of all significant occurrences onboard.
• Transfer of relevant information in Handover to next shift -- documented

Requirements:

Experienced ROV personnel who have a proven track record as ROV Supervisor.
