We are establishing a new manufacturing operation in Norway and are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to develop and lead our end-to-end supply chain function. This is a key role in the organization and offers the opportunity to establish and shape the procurement, sourcing, and planning systems from the start.
Responsibilities
As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our supply base and material flows meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with our business and production objectives.

Managing procurement, sourcing, and inventory planning to ensure seamless production cycles.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners and international suppliers.

Ensuring compliance with export control, regulations, and rigorous quality standards.

Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including geopolitical factors and lead-time disruptions.

Optimizing costs while maintaining the high reliability required for our technology.

Leading negotiations and managing complex supplier contracts.

Building and developing the supply chain team as the organization grows.

Coordinating closely with engineering, production, and finance to align supply with technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a structured and pragmatic approach to operational excellence in a fast-growing environment.

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing.

Experience from high-tech sectors is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems and modern supply chain planning tools.

Proven experience with international suppliers and global logistics.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

Strong communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English (Norwegian is an advantage).

Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
