Isar Aerospace is Europe’s leading private launch service provider, developing the Spectrum orbital launch vehicle to ensure independent and competitive access to space. We operate key infrastructure on the arctic island of Andøya, Norway. Working here means contributing directly to Europe’s space ambitions.

To strengthen our operations at Andøya, we are looking for motivated technical experts to join several of our on‑site teams. Each team plays a crucial role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient launch operations.

Infrastructure, Safety & Service (ISS) -- Automation Electrician
  • Operate and maintain electrical systems (24V/400V and PLC systems).

  • Collaborate to achieve goals across all areas, including close cooperation with colleagues in the operations team and in Germany.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and follow up on maintenance tasks.

  • Troubleshoot and repair faults.

Launch Operations -- Launch Operations Technician
  • Keep the ground infrastructure and machinery (Pad, AIT, workshops, etc.) operational, ready to test and launch, and compliant with regulatory requirements by developing and executing maintenance plans

  • Implement changes to and continuously improve our infrastructure and processes to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operations

  • Support test and launch campaigns of our Spectrum vehicle form preparing the pad for operation, over hands-on trouble shooting, to operating parts of the ground systems

Launch Operations -- AIT Technician
  • Shaping the launch site: Continuously improve the AIT infrastructure, and help develop it to compete with world class AIT facilities around the globe

  • High-Precision Assembly: Precise assembly of advanced space components

  • Machining Carbon Fiber Composites: Working with cutting-edge carbon fibre materials

  • Component and Assembly Testing: Validating the functionality of individual parts and complete assemblies

Launch Operations - Product Assurance Engineer
  • Shape and advance framework for product control at the Andøya launch site

  • Carry out in-process and final inspections or hardware and operations -- involving ground and flight systems

  • Be involved in and follow-up on acceptance testing of flight hardware

  • Review processes and procedures, and enforce the applicable document management

  • Follow-up on non-conformance reports and risks, including the mitigating actions
