Do you want to be our next Engineer - Piping - Test?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several Engineer - Piping - Test for an exciting project at Stord .

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Performing design checks and defining testing scope

• Preparing test isometrics and work orders

• Breaking down testing scope based on fabrication method, commissioning boundaries and P&IDs

• Ensuring high‑quality and timely deliveries in line with project procedures

• Improving testing procedures and routines and reporting deviations

• Supporting subcontracting scope definition

• Establishing and following testing systems and routines

• Reporting status and contributing to continuous improvement

We think you should have:

• Good IT skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach

• Strong knowledge and experience with hydro testing and piping fabrication

• Preferably experience from Aker Solutions

• Technical college or engineering background with minimum 3 years hydro testing experience

• Long experience from piping test is an advantage

• Software skills: MIPS and Bluebeam
