Join ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems as our new visionary country leader in Norway

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, and its Business Segment Industrial (BSI), is looking for a new Country Manager Norway. The position reports to the Regional Director Nordics & Business Unit Manager Sweden. The workplace will be at our headquarters in Oslo.

Business Segment Industrial (BSI), part of the Entrance System Division, delivers solutions in the following main product areas: Industrial Doors, Dock Levelers, High Performance Doors and Megadoors. In addition, BSI also delivers service and refurbishment and digital solutions relating to the previously mentioned products.

We are looking for a commercial leader who will drive growth, enhance profitability, and strengthen our market position in Norway. You will lead a company with strong professional teams and expertise in installation, service, and sales. Entrance Systems BSI Norway has 150 employees and offices in Oslo, Trondheim, and Sandnes.

Some of your responsibilities:

• Contribute to and engage in building an organizational culture based on our values Empowerment , Innovation and Integrity for Norway.

• Develop and implement business plans and operational goals based on the company’s strategies

• Ensure cost-effective operations and optimal resource utilization

• Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated and engaged leadership team

• Monitor financial results, including monthly reporting to the group

• Ensure that the company is a visible and preferred provider of door solutions for commercial customers

• Continue to develop a strong and profitable service business in accordance with the ASSA ABLOY Group strategy and guidelines

• Be responsible for ensuring the company has the right competence and succession plans in place

• Develop and build good relationships and cooperation with local union representatives, together with members of the management team

Who are we looking for?

You have:

• Experience in a senior management role in the industrial environment or construction related trades / technical building equipment with similar P&L responsibility

• Proven track record in sales and experience with service-oriented business models

• Experience with national business orientation and international reporting structures

• Experience working in a matrix organization

• Strong business acumen and capability

• Solid leadership skills and the ability to inspire and engage people

• A clear and motivating leadership style

• Experience with negotiations and cooperation with trade unions

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong language skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken

Some travel should be expected.
