TOMRA Collection is growing and is now searching for a Sustainability Manager for The Solution Hub (TSH). The Solution Hub is the main hub in Collection for technology, products and solutions. This role will initiate and coordinate activities to achieve both short-term annual sustainability goals and reach long-term strategic environmental ambitions.
This person will act as a liason between all departments in TSH, working across technology and product development, business, supply chain and production to ensure sustainable solutions are implemented from the initial idea of a product to end of life.
TOMRA has an ambitious sustainability strategy and our targets are validated by SBTi and this position will have a vital role to play in reaching these goals.
The Sustainability Manager will collaborate and align with other teams working with sustainability in both TOMRA Group and the Collection division. This role is part of the Project & Business Excellence management team and is based at TOMRA's HQ in Asker, Norway.
Specific Responsibilities:-
Lead the sustainability agenda within TSH, encompassing product development and sourcing processes.

Oversee the TSH Sustainability Roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Manage the TSH Greenbook, our sustainable product design guideline.

Ensure compliance with directives and regulations for CE marks, such as REACH, through meticulous process and documentation management.

Provide critical support for projects by delivering calculations and environmental data at decision gates, with a particular focus on Scope 3 emissions.

Facilitate projects and activities within the Collection Portfolio to drive product development in accordance with sustainability goals and strategies, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
In addition, we are looking for someone who will motivate innovation pilots and efforts on technologies, materials, solutions, and methods to support our sustainability goals and strategy. Someone who can influence and support the decarbonization journey, as well as the planet goal setting and KPI measuring in TSH.
Who are you?-
Higher university degree within business-related or technical subjects

5+ years’ experience in multi-disiplin product development

Solid understanding of sustainable product development and sustainability practices

Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels in the organizations

Experience with leading improvement initiatives and change management

Excellent storytelling skills in English and preferably also Norwegian
