The Job:

Job description

• Be Macro’s Representative offshore -- leading safe, efficient and compliant operations

• Ensure compliance with legislation, Safety Management System and Company procedures

• Provide visible safety leadership and promote a proactive safety culture

• Take charge of emergency response situations -- real and simulated

• Lead and develop offshore teams, and support crew training and competence progression

• Ensure vessel is maintained and operated to fulfill its emergency support role

• Monitor and improve the physical and psychosocial working environment

• Maintain updated operational records, certifications and administrative systems

• Take part in resource planning and cost control

• Liaise with authorities, class, and client representatives during inspections and audits

Qualifications

• Experience as OIM, within offshore operations, preferably Jack Up Accommodation

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and offshore operational standards on Norwegian sector

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex operations and resolve challenging situations

• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English

• Valid offshore certifications: Master Mariner, Safety Training, Medical Certificate, etc.)
