• Good Norwegian and English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Knowledge of Lofoten and the regional business market is an advantage

Previous hotel experience is valuable, but your personality, commercial mindset and ability to create relationships are equally important.

Arbeidsoppgaver

The Role

As Front & Service Manager, you will have an important role in the daily operation of Live Lofoten and will be one of the key contact points for our guests and customers.

You will work closely with the Operational Manager and the rest of the hotel team to ensure excellent communication between bookings, reception, restaurant, housekeeping and activities.

An important part of the position will also be to actively develop sales towards the Norwegian market, particularly in Lofoten and Northern Norway.

The role combines operations and sales -- you should be equally comfortable welcoming guests at the Front Office as you are contacting a local company about their next meeting, dinner, event or overnight stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Front Office operations and guest service

• Handling enquiries, reservations, check-in and check-out

• Follow-up of individual guests, groups and corporate customers

• Ensure professional guest communication before, during and after their stay

• Coordinate bookings and guest information with F&B, Housekeeping and other departments

• Maintain a high standard of service throughout the guest journey

• Handle guest feedback and contribute to continuous service improvement

• Actively sell hotel accommodation, restaurant services, meetings, events and experiences

• Develop business from the Norwegian local and regional market

• Build and maintain relationships with local companies, organisations and partners

• Follow up existing customers and identify new business opportunities

• Participate in local sales activities, customer visits and networking

• Develop offers and packages for companies, meetings, celebrations and local events

• Follow up enquiries and convert them into confirmed business

• Support group bookings and event planning

• Contribute to increased activity and revenue during periods with lower occupancy

• Ensure good internal communication and information flow

• Work closely with the Operational Manager on sales priorities and operational planning

Local Sales -- A Key Part of the Position

One of your most important responsibilities will be to strengthen Live Lofoten's presence in the Norwegian market, with particular focus on Lofoten and the surrounding region.

You will actively build relationships with businesses and organisations and help create attractive products and packages based on what the market needs.

This is therefore not only a Front Office position. Sales and relationship building are an important part of the role.
