AutoStore is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our R&D team, where you will develop and enhance our products, within an environment that values everyone's contribution and developmentwhile working alongside our engineering experts, product owners, and other resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive overview of your assigned product, ensuring quality, structural integrity, and design alignment

• Assess product performance within the AutoStore`s context, identifying technical gaps and driving broad improvements

• Take an Active role in mechanical designs, including load calculations, FEA analysis, mechanical integrity, etc.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Partners, Product Owners, Project Managers, and R&D teams to meet project objectives.

• Lead improvement initiatives by assembling and guiding project teams while fostering a collaborative, cross-disciplinary development culture

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of practical hands-on experience in mechanical design for manufacturing, assembly, and mass production with adegree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or any related field.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA simulations, FMEA, ISO GPS, and PLM systems.

• Product Development Experience prototyping and designing for processes like sheet metal stamping, die casting, or injection molding , Tolerances using DfA and DfM principles.

• The ability to Thrive in Testing and Improvement, material testing, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.
