Control System Software Engineer

We are looking for Control System Software Engineer Pnr: 6001262

Control System Software Engineer will develop and deliver control system software for advanced subsea technologies, including subsea compression and boosting systems, swivel stacks, and other automated solutions.

Job Description:

• Designing, implementing, and testing control system software for subsea systems
• Performing modifications and upgrades to delivered control systems through aftermarket activities
• Participating in component, functional, system, and interface testing
• Working closely with suppliers during testing activities at supplier locations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams across all project phases
• Supporting implementation and handover of control system software for subsea products and systems

Qualifications:

• Wants to work with industry-leading subsea technology and contribute to a sustainable energy future
• Enjoys technically challenging work in a collaborative engineering environment
• Holds a BSc or a MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, Computer Science/IT, or related engineering field.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems is a strong advantage
• Has a minimum of 4-8 years of relevant industry experience
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Has a positive, practical, and solution-oriented mindset with high drive and strong delivery capacity
• Is able to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Rockwell Automation automation products (e.g. Allen-Bradley PLCs or FactoryTalk View HMI software)
• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization or VMware solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
• Knowledge of HTML5 and modern visualization/presentation tools
• Use of AI tools to support development and improve workflows
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance methods
• Experience and knowledge about IT / Networking for industrial computing as well as cyber security
