Portfolio Solutions is part of the portfolio management team that oversees multi-asset portfolios containing equities, bonds, and alternative investments within a strategic focus area of Danske Bank Asset Management. We are responsible for portfolio management and the implementation of investment strategies for our clients in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.

You will join a Nordic team of specialists centred around an informal work environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our multi-asset products in Oslo and be seated next to our colleagues in equities, fixed income, and sales. Close collaboration with local teams and the wider Nordic organisation is essential to success in this role. Your manager is based in Copenhagen, and you will be the only member of the Portfolio Solutions team located in Oslo.

Portfolio management with a client-centric approach

Your main tasks will include:

• Managing day-to-day portfolio management for all multi-asset funds and discretionary portfolios in Norway, including monitoring and handling of daily flows

• Allocating portfolios within and between asset classes in alignment with global strategy

• Supporting the global Portfolio Solutions team in scaling our existing platform

• Interacting and supporting client managers in Norway, including attending client meetings, preparing and presenting investment solutions, and conducting ad hoc analyses

• Providing frequent portfolio and market updates

• Acting as a strategic sparring partner with specialised local knowledge

Who are you?

In this role, it is important that you are accustomed to taking responsibility, being flexible, proactive and independent while thriving in a dynamic environment that occasionally demands extra effort. Your way of working should be structured and analytical with a positive and solution-oriented mindset. It is crucial that you can engage with clients at all knowledge levels in a trustworthy and professional manner.

We expect you are an experienced investment professional with up to five years of experience in asset management or a similar role. Additionally, strong technical skills (VBA and Python) and outstanding communication skills are essential. You should hold a master's degree in economics, Finance, or a related field. Fluency in Norwegian and professional proficiency in English is required.
