Job title: Car mechanic / Diagnostics – Large Ford dealer

Job description: Cars and light vans repairs, service, and diagnostics.

Norwegian “Fagbrev” (Craft Certificate) as Automotive Mechanic (letthus /personbilmekaniker) or equivalent trade qualification recognised by the Norwegian authorities.

Additional Ford or other brand specific diagnostic certifications are an advantage.

Minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience performing maintenance, repairs and advanced fault finding on passenger vehicles.

Proven ability to interpret technical data and use modern diagnostic tools (e.g., Ford IDS/FDRS, OBD II scanners, oscilloscopes).

Competence in electrical and electronic systems, CAN bus diagnostics, hybrid/EV safety procedures and software updates.

Able to follow manufacturer service bulletins and document work in DMS systems.

Good command of English or Scandinavian language (spoken and written).

Valid Category B (passenger car) driving licence.

Structured and quality conscious.

Customer oriented with good communication skills.

Able to work independently and in a team, even under time pressure.

Willingness to attend Ford factory training courses in Norway or abroad.

Eligibility to live and work in Norway.

Working hours and place of work: Full time work + overtime. Permanent employment

Working hours from 08.00-1700 and we provide working uniform and protection equipment.

Salary: Individual, but minimum 275 NOK pr hour + additional overtime and insurance.
