Join us in building our new generation plastic recycling plants -
We seek competent people to help us save the world!
We are working on multiple prospects for new plastic recycling plants, and we are searching for colleagues who can take responsibility for and contribute to reaching our project goals. The Senior Electrical Engineer will become part of our Electrical, Instrument, Telecom and Automation group. The engineering team has the privilege to both provide engineering support to our running plants and act as owners engineers towards our EPC partners for our new plants. Our Engineers get the fantastic opportunity to impact our plants all the way from early design to full production. As we are a small and agile company, proactivity, ownership, and dedication is highly valued.
Quantafuel’s plastic-to-liquid technology is a front runner in material recycling of plastic waste. The entire value chain is circular; our chemical recycling process converts low quality plastic waste into valuable and high demand replacements for fossil fuel used in the chemicals industry for the production of new plastics.
Viridor, one of the UK’s leading resource and waste management companies, became Quantafuel’s main shareholder following a successful acquisition in May 2023. The acquisition of Quantafuel reflects Viridor’s ambition to lead innovation in the plastics recycling sector and deliver full circularity in all four major plastics by 2025.
Viridor, the majority owner of Quantafuel, has a vision of building a world where nothing goes to waste. Through combining existing mechanical recycling capabilities with Quantafuel’s chemical recycling a unique polymer recycling business is created.
We are now building our second plastic recycling plant and we have conducted the FEED for our Mark-II design that will be deployed in our next plants currently being planned, and we need more competent people once we enter the detailed engineering phase of these new plants. We have created a modular and containerized electrical system together with our suppler and EPC partner which will be further developed.
