As Senior Electrical Engineer, do you want to solve tough challenges for the global energy industry?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer for an exciting project in Trondheim .

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing:

• Overseeing all engineering discipline activities within the project

• Ensuring quality, progress, cost control and risk management

• Following up schedules and coordinating with key stakeholders

• Supporting detailed engineering work and securing efficient project execution

• Working with electrical systems, including motor drives and medium voltage equipment

We think you should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience from NCS projects

• Experience from detailed engineering projects

• Experience as discipline lead or group lead is an advantage

• Good knowledge of EIT installations and familiarity with NORSOK and relevant IEC standards

• Experience with electrical drives and medium voltage equipment

• Ability to take responsibility, make decisions and drive progress

• Strong communication skills in English

• Offshore certificate and basic EX certification are an advantage

• Relevant education from vocational school, BSc, MSc or trade certificate combined with experience
