Marketing & Communication Specialist

Ocean Installer’s operations focus on all aspects of offshore marine construction, encompassing both the traditional oil and gas and emerging renewables markets. The company is currently expanding its service offerings and will continue to work across all global markets.
In support of its relaunch as an independent company, Ocean Installer has set out a new strategy and created a new visual identity. We are now looking for the right candidate to build up our marketing and communication function. Placed at our headquarters in Stavanger, but very much a global role, this is a unique opportunity to really make a difference on how we tell our story. You will have visibility of what is going on across the organization in all regions and play a crucial part in development of our employer brand by setting the strategy for marketing and communication.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop and implement Ocean Installer's marketing & communication strategy and proactively contribute to the marketing plan and output
• Work closely with senior leaders to optimize storytelling and media appearance and provide training if needed
• Assist in identifying and developing ideas, insights, concepts, campaigns and creative formats for media engagement as well as other branding and engagement platforms, around Ocean Installer's key focus topics
• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support our business objectives in building corporate awareness towards both external and internal stakeholders.
• Produce and/or edit press releases, blogs, white papers, infographics, SoMe posts (LinkedIn) and other written material for external communications
• Website management and analytics
• Contribute to establish & manage crisis communications
• Navigate in a complex business environment with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience from relevant communication and marketing role
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Proven experience from management and development of business website and SoME platforms
• Experience from photography and video editing is preferred
• Excellent skills within Powerpoint, Power BI, Sharepoint and other relevant Office programmes
