We are currently seeking a motivated Sous-Chef with a passion for working in a international team. Daily responsibilities include preparing fresh à la carte dishes, following HACCP requirements, working closely with the Head Chef, and training new staff.
Working at Hevd Bakeri & Pizzeria:We are looking for a Sous-Chef who is service-minded, structured, and organized. You can expect busy days in a fast-paced kitchen environment, so enjoying a high work tempo is essential. We value a positive attitude and seek someone who contributes to a strong and supportive team atmosphere.
Our restaurant operates with a flat hierarchy, which means you should enjoy motivating your team and taking care of your colleagues to ensure everyone performs at their best.
Opening Hours:
Monday 10:30-21:00
Tuesday - Saturday 10:30-22:00
Sunday 11:00-21:00
About the Position:
As a Sous-Chef at Hevd Torget, you'll collaborate with our bakery, pizzeria, grill sections, and two other Hevd departments. You'll share responsibilities with another Sous-Chef and assist the Head Chef in managing our kitchen operations.

Prepare à la carte dishes, particularly within the grill section

Adhere to HACCP guidelines

Train and onboard new kitchen staff

Manage storage and inventory

Contribute to maintaining and developing the food concept and menu

Prepare dishes according to recipes and kitchen standards

Taste all dishes before service

Monitor and manage food orders

Cook meals on time in collaboration with other chefs

Follow daily routines and procedures

Minimum 5 years of documented experience as a chef

Previous leadership experience is an advantage

Able to speak and be understood in English

Enjoys working in an international team
