About the role:

Boresight and Alignment Solutions (BAS) is looking for a Software Developer to strengthen our development team in Asker. As a Software Developer at BAS, you will work on the core software of our measurement systems, from design and development to testing and validation. You will be part of a small, competent team with close collaboration across disciplines. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued development of BAS' core technology and software products.

We are primarily looking for senior developers, but motivated mid?level developers with strong technical interest and engagement are also highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software design, development, integration, validation, and testing
  (C# and C++ within a Microsoft Visual Studio environment)
• Maintain, enhance, and develop new features and modules for the company's core software products
• Develop new functionality and modules for demanding customer applications
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal software development processes
• Collaborate closely with the Metronor Group Software Development Team through BAS

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2-5 years' experience in a professional software development role
• Experience with C# and C++ within a Microsoft Visual Studio environment
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Technology, Cybernetics, or other software development related field
• Experience with modern software and method development using state?of?the?art tools
• Knowledge of Scrum or agile development methodologies
• Good written and spoken English

Desirable:

• Experience in digital image processing, statistics, and/or mathematical modelling
• Background in high?precision or measurement?based systems
• Solid experience with MVVM?based WPF applications, including structuring views, view models, and binding patterns
