Financial Controller

We’re looking for a Finance Controller to lead the financial reporting for our Norwegian operations. This is a key role within our Nordic finance organization, offering you the opportunity to work closely with our Financial Service Centre in Poland and collaborate with Group and Nordic Finance teams to ensure correct and timely reporting.

You will be part of a Nordics finance organization and report directly to a local financial operational manager and become a trusted financial advisor to our GM.

Reporting Focus and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial reporting of the Norwegian entity within the Nordic organization performed by the service centre in Poland.

• Provide input and changes as needed (e.g. updating accruals, updates to FTEs, bad debt calculations etc.).

• Assist in deliverables to auditors and annual financial reporting in close cooperation with external partner.

• Group ESG reporting.

• Manage bank payments and contact to Treasury in Group Finance as well as contact to Group Finance tax team (e.g. for transfer price regulation).

• Work with our service centre in Poland on accounts payable by maintaining our vendor matrices and approval of payment.

• Handle financials controls and compliance according to Group Policies and Standards.

Local Focus and Responsibilities:

• Manage contact to all public interfaces in Norway (tax, VAT, statistics, etc).

• LeasePlan / NF Fleet.

• Responsible for monthly payroll inputs to external provider.

Nordic Focus and Responsibilities:

• Align with other Nordic countries in case of setting standards and best practices.

• Input for Forecast / Budget.

Your backpack:
We imagine that you hold a relevant master’s degree, enjoy various financial disciplines and have a minimum of three relevant years’ experience. You deliver on initiatives and projects on time and within target. You have the capabilities to execute on it and still we see many opportunities for personal and professional development.

We imagine that you have:

• Experience with consolidation principles, controlling, and reporting processes, plus understanding of the audit process

• Effective communication and solid interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

• Dynamics AX, MS 365/Office, e.g. Excel.

• You are a pro-active user of IT/accounting systems and have practical experience with financial ERP and consolidation systems.

• Proficient in NGAP (accounting skills).

• You have acquired a solid financial / controlling toolbox along the way, which enables you to maneuver at all levels in the organization. As a person you can build professional relationships and approach your stakeholders with openness and curiosity.

• You will be the “go-to person” in our financial department, you are ready to take your own decisions, and you are prepared to take charge of your tasks.

• Written and spoken Norwegian and English is required to solve your tasks.

• Assist the management team with input to annual budget process.
