Teacher qualification, competence in English, motivation and suitability to working in an international IB school are essential aspects of the post and should be outlined in the letter of interest. A current police certificate is required too.

The skills desirable of the incumbent are:

• Excellent understanding and knowledge of primary/Key Stage 1/IB phase 1-2 education and student development

• Excellent class leadership and management skills

• IB experience (especially of PYP)

• Good teamwork, communication and collaborative skills

• Flexibility, enthusiasm and professionalism

• Understanding and experience of living and working in Nordic Europe

The successful applicant would need to have an up-to-date police certificate, be fully qualified as a teacher, and if trained from outside Norway need NOKUT approval for teaching in Norway:

Arbeidsoppgaver

We wish to have letters of interest with CV and references for suitably qualified and interested teachers. This position is as a PE teacher in Grades 1 to 6.

The position will include the following areas of responsibility:

• Team planning and collaboration with other staff

• Monitoring of student progress
