  • Own the commercial and contractual delivery of your projects---ensuring we meet obligations, quality expectations, budgets, and safety standards.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Steer the full project lifecycle --- from final sales handover to vessel delivery and smooth transition into our Service organization.

  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up project progress, including procurement and supplier interactions.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate HSE and environmental risks, ensuring safe and responsible execution.

  • Maintain close communication with customers and stakeholders to ensure feedback and satisfaction.

  • Drive financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and internal and external reporting.

  • Ensure contract compliance, proactively managing terms, conditions and manage risks, changes, and opportunities.

  • Travel to shipyards and factories (primarily in Europe) for key meetings and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).

What You Bring to the Team

You are eager to grow, contribute, and take responsibility in an exciting marine technology environment. You combine technical expertise with curiosity, collaboration, and the drive to make things happen.

We believe you will thrive here if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation.

  • Experience working with marine systems or similar technical environments --- either as an engineer or in a hands-on technical role.

  • Project management experience --- or a strong ambition and readiness to step into this responsibility and make it your next career move.

  • Strong communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are warmly welcomed.

  • A natural ability to work with diverse cultures and perspectives --- our work spans countries, customers, and colleagues worldwide.

Who You Are

To succeed and enjoy this role, you’ll likely recognize yourself in the following:

  • Service-minded and collaborative, with a genuine interest in creating great results together.

  • A team player with leadership potential, who brings both technical understanding and people skills to the table.

  • Motivated, proactive, and comfortable leading teams, decisions, and progress.

  • Structured and accurate, able to keep an overview even when priorities shift.

  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to manage complexity and deliver under pressure.

  • Business-minded, always looking for smarter, better ways to work and improve our offering to customers.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Meaningful work in a forward-thinking and sustainable industry.

  • Technical and personal development opportunities, including ABB’s Project Manager Training & Certification Program.

  • A flexible hybrid work model that supports work-life balance.

  • A supportive and knowledgeable team eager to share their expertise.
