Join our Veracity OVD Team as a Test & Release Manager!
Are you passionate about project and test management and driving operational excellence in software products? Do you have experience in the maritime industry and a knack for fostering collaboration across diverse teams? We want you to join our Veracity OVD (Operational Vessel Data) team!
As a key member of our team, you’ll support Data Assurance services for Commercial and Regulatory emissions reporting, helping ship owners and vessel operators manage data for hundreds of ships worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a Test & Release Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:-
Test Strategy Development:
-
Own and develop the OVD test strategy, ensuring overall project objectives.

Define comprehensive test policies, objectives, scope, and success criteria.

Work closely with development and product teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the development cycle

Test Management Support:
-
Collaborate with teams to align testing processes with project goals.

Ensure stakeholder involvement in test planning, execution and feedback gathering.

Test Data Management:
-
Design and implement effective test data management strategies.
-
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to create realistic data sets for testing.

Release Management:
-
Organize and facilitate release planning meetings to ensure smooth delivery of updates.

Coordinate release schedules, identify risks, and oversee post-release evaluations.

Stakeholder Communication:
-
Serve as a liaison between the product manager, development teams, and external stakeholders.

Provide clear, consistent updates on progress, gather feedback, and address concerns effectively.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance workflows across the product organization.

Capture feedback and improvement suggestions from teams and implement best practices.

- Team Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams working on Azure DevOps with diverse technologies such as Data Warehouse, Python, and .NET.
Example Projects:
-
Coordinating releases delivering critical data to Emissions Connect and Veracity Data Workbench.

Facilitating process improvements to streamline operations within the OVD product organization.

Supporting test management efforts for high-quality product delivery.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual who thrives in dynamic environments and has a strong background software testing and project management.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in project and test management within software development or technology projects.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-
Knowledge of the maritime industry or experience working on maritime-related projects is highly desirable.

Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud).

Experience working with hybrid teams across multiple locations worldwide
