🎯 Who You Are

We are looking for an exceptional relationship builder and fundraiser who wants to help shape Operation Smile Norway.

This is a rare opportunity to build a fundraising and partnerships function from the ground up, backed by one of the world’s leading global health NGOs. You’ll have the freedom to influence strategy, shape new income streams, and help create a sustainable funding model that expands access to healthcare for generations to come.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are energised by opening doors that others can’t, building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, and turning ambitious ideas into long-term partnerships that generate significant revenue and lasting social impact. You are equally comfortable pitching to a CEO, cultivating a major donor, presenting to a foundation board, or representing Operation Smile at Norway’s most influential business and philanthropic forums.

You’ll join a small, ambitious Oslo team and report directly to the Executive Director, with the backing of Operation Smile’s global network. Operation Smile is supported by tens of thousands of donors across the globe, with established fundraising teams in Sweden, Norway, Italy, the UK, Ireland, Canada, the USA, Colombia, South Africa and Australia --- giving this role access to a strong international network of expertise, relationships and shared learning.

You will ideally bring:

• At least 7 years' experience in corporate partnerships, major donor fundraising, business development or strategic partnerships.

• A demonstrable track record of securing six and seven-figure corporate partnerships, sponsorships, major gifts or philanthropic funding.

• Significant experience leading complex partnership conversations from prospecting through to negotiation and closing.

• An established network across Norway's corporate, foundation, philanthropy and sustainability sectors, with the confidence to open doors at senior executive level.

• Experience engaging CEOs, senior executives, CSR and Sustainability Directors, Marketing Directors, HR leaders, Foundations and family offices.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop robust revenue pipelines, manage forecasting and deliver against ambitious income targets.

• Excellent proposal writing, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor compelling partnership propositions for different audiences.

• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach

• Experience working within a growing organisation, scale-up or ambitious nonprofit where adaptability and initiative are essential.

• A genuine passion for health equity and sustainable impact.

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.

Within your first 12 months you will:

• Build and manage a high-quality, warm pipeline of corporate, foundation and philanthropic prospects.

• Secure new strategic partnerships that generate significant income and long-term engagement.

• Strengthen Operation Smile Norway's position within Norway's corporate and philanthropic landscape.

• Help shape the long-term fundraising strategy and contribute to building a scalable fundraising function capable of supporting ambitious future growth.
