Digital Execution is responsible for being an efficient "execution machine" when it comes to digital initiatives in Aker BP. This means understanding the needs of the other Aker BP business units, as well as providing digital excellence and the processes required to deliver value. DIGE's strategic purpose is to catalyse Aker BP to become the world's first data-driven E&P company.
This position is part of IT Operations and the IT Service Management team in DIGE. We secure efficient IT Service Management and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) for Aker BP's multivendor environment .
We are looking for an IT Service Manager that will take responsibility for Aker BPs Enterprise Service Management tool ServiceNow. Service Managers are responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT, processes, application, workplace, or infrastructure services. They oversee successful service delivery, focusing on developing and improving services to meet business objectives, consumer needs and governance practices. Their role involves balancing value, cost, and risk while managing a portfolio of services.
Typical work tasks can be:- Define and maintain the scope and value proposition of the service aligning solution with business needs
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the service and practices end-to-end (maintenance, improvement and decommissioning)
- Manage budget, track capacity, resources and consumption
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers and vendors
- Monitor, manage and report on performance metrics to ensure services deliver value
- Develop and execute plans to promote service adoption
- Ensure adherence to governance standards (e.g., information security, safety, supply chain, Enterprise and data architecture)
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or similar relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education
- Minimum of 5 years managing Service Management platforms/systems and Service Management practices
- Customer-focused mindset and strong ability to plan and prioritize
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
