About the job

We are looking for a passionate and skilled developer to design and implement cutting-edge tools, including VS Code extensions for the nRF Connect SDK, and create seamless cross-platform solutions for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance development tools -- Design and implement VS Code extensions for the nRF Connect SDK, optimizing developer workflows.
• Improvedevelopment user experience -- Identifying and creating new user experiences for embedded development workflows with frontend skills.
• Build cross-platform solutions -- Develop robust PC software that runs smoothly on Windows, Linux, and macOS for embedded engineers worldwide.
• Collaborate with experts across disciplines -- Work alongside firmware, system, and frontend engineers to create high-quality embedded development experiences.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions -- Follow best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and documentation, to deliver scalable software.

Key Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of application development in TypeScript or similar language
• Knowledge of embedded software development is a plus
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug and optimize embedded applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-driven and proactive team player who is passionate about embedded technology and developer tooling.
