We are looking for a Procurement Developer to join Oda
As a Procurement Developer, you'll be at the heart of our operations, owning and enhancing the technical aspects of our procurement parameters within RELEX Forecast and Replenishment. This includes everything from refining machine learning product forecasts and safety stock models to optimizing batch sizes and managing the incoming flow of goods.
Your work will directly drive improvements in procurement efficiency, product availability, waste reduction, and operational efficiency in our incoming departments. You'll be the crucial link between our data and insight teams, software engineers, procurement managers, and operations teams, ensuring seamless alignment and execution.
What we offer-
A chance to make a real impact as a Procurement Developer in a fast-moving company with a product people love-while shaking up the grocery industry.
-
Teammates who aim high and have each other’s backs. We care about people, and that means supporting each other every step of the way.
-
A flat structure where we team up across disciplines to solve exciting challenges. Big ideas come from everywhere!
-
A transparent way of working. We use Slack to stay in the loop-less email, fewer meetings, more getting things done.
-
A buzzing office at Tøyen, with lunch made by our very own chefs.
-
A collaborative approach-we tackle exciting tech and product challenges together, across different fields.
-
A chance to shape the future of grocery shopping while building a company that’s here to stay.
-
Develop & optimize tools: Own and enhance systems like RELEX Forecast and Replenishment to achieve ambitious targets in availability, sustainability, efficiency, and profitability.
-
Lead cross-market projects: Drive initiatives across Norway (Oda) and Sweden (Mathem), collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously improve procurement and incoming goods flows.
-
Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between our Data & Insight, Software Engineering, Operations, and external partners to ensure aligned and effective procurement development.
-
Drive RELEX System Stability & Improvements: Own the relationship with RELEX, manage version updates, testing, bug resolution, and negotiate system upgrades and modifications.
-
Support & scale local teams: Train procurement super-users in RELEX and contribute to the successful launch and scaling of fulfillment centers across our markets.
-
Improve cost efficiency: Provide a global perspective on supply chain decisions, challenge local practices, and leverage cost insights to optimize both fixed and variable procurement costs.
-
Proven experience: Relevant experience with procurement and forecasting tasks, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
-
RELEX expertise: Strong hands-on experience with RELEX (or similar supply chain planning tools).
-
Operational insight: Experience working in an operations environment.
-
Analytical mindset: Strong structured problem-solving and data analysis skills with basic understanding of SQL and Python.
-
Experimentation: Experience with A/B testing.
-
Self-starter: Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on process development and market support
-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
-
Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex technical issues into clear insights for business stakeholders.
-
Willingness to take ownership of complex system-related challenges and make tough decisions.
-
Good technical troubleshooting skills.
-
5+ years of relevant working experience.
