Straye Stålbygg AS is looking for crane operator and assemblers

Due to increasing project volume and exciting new assignments, Straye Stålbygg AS is looking for skilled new employees to join our team.

We are seeking both a Crane Operator with G8 certification and Assemblers who want a varied working day and the opportunity to contribute to solid construction projects.

Open positions

• Crane Operator with G8 certification

• Assemblers

Key responsibilities for Assemblers

• Installation of steel structures

• Installation of hollow core slabs

• Installation of sandwich panels

• Installation of flashings

• Installation of windows and doors

• Working closely with the assembly team to ensure efficient and safe progress on site

Key responsibilities for Crane Operator with G8 certification

• Operating crane with G8 certification

• Lifting operations related to installation of steel structures and prefabricated elements

• Close cooperation with assemblers and project management

• Ensuring safe and efficient handling on construction sites

• Inspection and daily follow-up of equipment

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience from construction, assembly work, or steel projects

• Is responsible and focused on HSE

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Is solution-oriented and structured

• Has a positive attitude and contributes to a good working environment

For the Crane Operator role, we also require

• Valid HDS certification / licence

• Experience with crane operation and lifting tasks

• Good understanding of safety and precision in daily work
