We are now looking for a Senior ArcGIS Consultantwho can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

We are looking for a Senior Consultant or a Consultant with interest in helping electrical grid companies to succeed in their day to day operations, to join one of our Consultancy team in Trondheim, Oslo, Copenhagen or Stockholm. The teams are working on delivery of Volue’s software for the electrical grid companies in Scandinavia. Typical tasks can be:

Installation and upgrades

Development and setup of map services and geoprocessing services

ArcGIS Enterprise administration

Technical problem-solving

Customisation and integration

Conversion and migration to ArcGIS UN

We are primarily looking a candidate with a few years of experience, but if you are newly graduated and having interest for GIS and/or electrical grid, you are welcome to apply. It is important that you have an interest in technology and in delivering software for critical infrastructure. You are focused on quality and are constantly looking for improvements. Most important is that you are willing to learn and expand your knowledge.

You are engaged in your tasks and take the initiative to further develop yourself and those you work with. You like to solve challenges, are solution oriented, curious about new technologies, see opportunities and understand commercial needs. Furthermore, you are passionate about creating great customer experiences. You are a team player who enjoys creating value together with your colleagues.

You have relevant education on a Bachelor or Master level, primary within geography/GIS, electrical grid/energy, or the technology domain.

You have knowledge of geographical information systems or network information systems.

You have experience in ArcGIS and ArcGIS Experience Builder.

You have knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).

You have a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow your knowledge.

For the senior position, experience in GIS advisory, consultancy firms, grid companies, or similar industries is required.

You are fluent in a Scandinavian language and have excellent communication skills in English.

The position is a part of the Power Grid Consultancy, and reports to one of the team leads in this department. We are looking to hire for Volue office in Trondheim, Oslo, Copenhagen or Stockholm.
