As Kjøkkensjef at Delicatessen, you will bring the flavors of Spain to Sandvika, leading a team dedicated to authentic tapas and vibrant Mediterranean cuisine.
Key responsibilities:
✅ Leading the kitchen team with passion and precision
✅ Ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes
✅ Managing food costs, efficiency, and kitchen operations ✅ Training and developing chefs and kitchen staff
✅ Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards
Who you are:
✔ A skilled Head Chef or Sous Chef with a love for Spanish cuisine
✔ Experienced in leading a high-energy, high-volume kitchen
✔ Organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent leader
✔ Fluent in English and/or Norwegian

Delicatessen Sandvika is a newly established unit, and this role is about more than just running a kitchen. You will play a central part in building our presence in the area, setting the standard, and making sure guests in Sandvika truly discover and return for our food.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent high quality while adapting to the local market, building routines, and strengthening the team as the restaurant grows. Your ability to create structure, maintain standards, and develop people will be key to establishing a strong and sustainable operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be highly present in service, lead by example, and work closely with the restaurant management team to drive performance and results.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by growth, enjoys building something over time, and takes pride in delivering consistently great guest experiences while helping the business establish its foothold in Sandvika.

When we traveled to Naples in 2003, we had no idea that we would return home with both a pizza oven and an Italian chef. We fell head over heels in love with Italian food culture, and that trip marked the beginning of an incredible journey. The following year, we opened the doors to Villa Paradiso in Grünerløkka, Oslo. Since then, it has become a neighborhood restaurant, serving thousands of Neapolitan pizzas and other Italian dishes to family and friends. The restaurant has grown into a cultural icon for Italian cuisine. Our initial infatuation has deepened into a profound love for Italian food culture, and our trips to Naples have become many. Our passion has grown so strong that we’ve made it our mission to share it with others, so more people can experience what Neapolitan pizza and authentic Italian culinary traditions have to offer. We want more people to breathe in the unbeatable aroma of crisp pizza crust, mozzarella, and tomato sauce wafting from a wood-fired oven into a room filled with the hum and voices of eager guests, hungry for both pizza and life.
