We are experiencing an increase in activity and are looking for a dedicated Purchaser to join our team at Kongsberg Maritime. At Carpus in Kongsberg, an Purchaser is responsible for analysing purchase requirements, issuing and following up purchasing orders and contributing to optimised inventory levels. Our department, Operational Purchasing, is part of Operations in Kongsberg Maritime’s Energy & Control division. We support our new sales deliveries and global customer support in supplying equipment and spare parts to our customers - at the right time, to the right cost, and in the right place.

• Analyse material requirements and optimise purchase and inventory levels
• Issue and follow up purchase orders
• Develop and collaborate with the existing supplier base
• Contribute to an optimised use of our ERP system and enhancement of working processes and KPIs, including being an active contributor to continuous improvements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain or other administrative education
• Relevant work experience is valued
• Experienced in using digital tools like ERP and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Power BI etc.)
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written

• Service minded with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven and team-oriented, systematic and with a structured way of working
• Capable of managing a high level of activity and meeting deadlines
