The role:

Validated deployments are live across Norway. Customer commitments are growing. UK and US expansion is underway. The machines are in the field, the data flywheel is turning.

As Hive scales - more customers, more sites, more markets - the operational complexity behind our hardware grows with it. This role exists to build the backbone that supports that next phase.

You will own procurement and supply chain across hardware, electronics, suppliers, inventory, logistics, and operational readiness. That means sourcing critical components, strengthening supplier relationships, improving inventory and logistics structures, and working closely with engineering, operations, and finance to keep deployment velocity high without sacrificing quality or cost control.

This is not a back-office role. It is hands-on and execution-focused, sitting close to both the product and the reality of deploying industrial autonomy in the field.

You will be based in Kristiansand - our operational heartbeat - but the scope is global from day one. The suppliers you manage, the logistics flows you build, and the decisions you make will directly support deployments across Norway, the UK, and the US.

What You Will Do: Strategic Procurement

Own sourcing and supplier relationships across Hive’s hardware and operational ecosystem. This includes supplier selection, negotiations, purchasing, lead time management, and helping Hive scale a reliable supply chain as deployments grow.

Operational Purchasing & Supply Chain

Manage day-to-day purchasing and supply chain activities supporting deployments, testing, commissioning, and operations. You will help ensure the right components and equipment are available when needed - without slowing down execution.

Supplier & Partner Management

Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and logistics providers in Norway and internationally. You will help evaluate supplier quality, responsiveness, scalability, and operational fit.

Inventory, Logistics & Operational Readiness

Help establish scalable structures for:

• Inventory management

• Spare parts handling

• Logistics and warehouse flows

• Deployment readiness

• Operational planning

You will work closely with deployment and operations teams to improve predictability and reduce bottlenecks as Hive scales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, deployment, operations, finance, and leadership teams to balance technical requirements, timelines, operational needs, and commercial priorities.

What We Are Looking For:

Non-negotiables

• 3-5+ years of experience within procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or operational purchasing

• Strong ownership mentality and execution skills

• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities change quickly

• Commercial mindset and proven good negotiation skills

• Structured, practical, and solution-oriented

• Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience from one or more of the following:

• Background in industrial tech, automation, hardware, electronics, or manufacturing

• Experience in scale-ups, supplier management, inventory/warehouse processes, ERP or procurement systems, or logistics coordination

• Genuine interest in robotics, AI, or operational scaling
