We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer who is interested in working in theinvestment world . Our team develops cutting edge capabilities that aim to deliver a seamless experience for our customers. Who we are
"Strategy, Technology and Risk" is a newly formed division in Wealth Management - responsible for the development and management of IT solutions related to the distribution of investment products to retail customers and other services in WM. We mainly deal with funds, equities and other investment products, and right now we are on a mission to see how we can deliver more value to our customers. We are re-creating everything in order to maximize the utility of cloud computing. This will enable us to complete our vision about having a brand-new financial platform that will revolutionize the Norwegian market.

As a Data Engineer you are able of designing clear concepts, which are understood by both business and IT, are self-driven and versatile, and have an agile and proactive mindset.
What you will be doing (responsibilities of the role)-
Help bringing data and analytics directly to our customer channels, like SPARE and Web

Design and develop ELT processes

Offload data to Snowflake
-
Do transformations and calculations in dbt
-
Maintain and develop data products that are central to both external and internal consumers

Work closely with business users and becoming an expert in the domain of saving & investments

Contribute on data strategy

You have broad experience both designing and developing solutions from scratch

You like coding in SQL, Python or other languages

You like to work closely with business users
-
You have been working with Snowflake and dbt
-
Education at university / college level, or relevant experience of sufficient scope

Broad experience with architectural work and / or information modelling in large and complex organizations

Experience with various database / storage and integration mechanisms is also positive

You communicate well in both English and Norwegian - verbally and in writing
