The Role: Procurement Excellence ManagerWe are seeking a new Procurement Excellence Manager to develop and drive procurement operating model best-practices in the new organization. In this key role, you will foster cross-platform collaboration, strengthen procurement skills, and support each platform in reaching their procurement objectives. You will be a part of the Procurement Excellence Team and report directly to the Procurement Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, execution, and codification of best-in-class procurement practices across the organization, including processes, procedures, controls, reporting and systems, to improve procurement efficiency
- Drive the development of a well-structured post-merger procurement organization by fostering strategic collaboration, encouraging knowledge sharing, ensuring adherence to best practices across platforms
- Support each platform with expertise and guidance to reach their respective goals
- Develop and manage training programs to build and enhance procurement skills
- Ensure compliance with regulations, trade policies, and sustainability standards, incl., drive initiatives to comply with Group ESG goals and reduce CO2 emissions
- Develop and manage concepts for Category Management and Supplier Relationship management
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement with a proven track record of developing and executing procurement practices to achieve efficiency and cost savings
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with strategic procurement tools and methodologies
- Relevant courses and certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or similar) are an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to be understood in written and spoken English, with knowledge of a Nordic language considered an advantage
- Process-Oriented: You possess a process-focused mindset and is driven to develop streamlined and efficient procurement processes
- Improvement-driven: You are dedicated to continuously improving procurement operations and capabilities, by optimizing processes and managing training programs for skill development
