We are looking for:

Motivated individuals who are solution-oriented, have experience driving a truck and enjoy being physically active while working. You must enjoy working outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

• Have a Class C driver's license/YSK, and is ready to operate our truck with precision and responsibility

• Is in good physical shape and can work efficiently. We value a structured approach to work and the ability to handle tasks in an organized manner.

• Can take initiative, work independently, and are proactive in handling various tasks.

Work tasks:

• Collection and transport of household waste on established routes.

• Responsibility for the truck, including weekly washing and maintenance according to routines.

• Monitoring of waste sorting and discrepancy recording.

• Communicating with and guiding customers when necessary.

• Other tasks typically associated with the waste collection profession.

Additional information:

In NordRen departement Asker, we have 23 trucks. Some are small Volvo and Iveco single-operator trucks, while the larger ones are Scania three-axle trucks with two-person crews. The trucks have two compartments: One for paper and plastic, one for food and residual waste.

Each two-person crew handles between 300 and 350 stops per day, meaning they empty around 600–700 bins daily. All bins are equipped with RFID chips, which are scanned by antennas on the lifting mechanism during collection. This records the chip number, time of collection, and waste type.

We empty approximately 1.8 million waste containers on an annual basis.
On average, we empty about 7000 - 7500 containers per day, totaling around 36 000 containers per week.
