We are hiring 2 experienced chefs for a unique seasonal opportunity in the heart of Norway. You’ll rotate between two picturesque hotels, preparing buffet-style meals—mainly dinners—for group travelers and bus tourists.
Locations:

Ilsetra Hotel – Hafjell, Norway. Ilsetra Hotel is located about 2.5 hours from Oslo, at the top of Hafjell, nearly 1000 meters above sea level. Here you will find a cozy mountain resort with four apartment buildings, and in the main building, you’ll find our restaurant, bar, lounge, and wellness area with an outdoor heated pool and various saunas. Ilsetra has a unique location that allows you to enjoy fresh mountain air while being close to nature and trails. Ilsetra Hotel by Frich’s is a complete event hotel in the mountains, focusing on togetherness, Norwegian food culture, and authentic mountain experiences.

Dale-Gudbrands Gard – Hundorp, Norway. Dale-Gudbrands Gard offers contemporary comfort and delicious meals set in a historic environment. Dale-Gudbrands Gard at Hundorp has a richer cultural history than most other Norwegian rural estates. The estate has been a natural meeting place for important meetings and grand events since as far back as the Viking era.
If you’re confident working independently, enjoy the quiet of nature, and love cooking for guests, this could be the perfect summer-to-autumn job for you.
What You'll Do:

Prepare and serve buffet-style dinners (mainly for tourist groups)

Run the kitchen alone and independently

Maintain good food quality and hygiene routines

Work between two hotel locations (driver’s license required)

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a chef

Good knowledge of buffet preparation and planning

Able to work self-sufficiently and responsibly

Driver’s license (essential)

English fluency is required

Norwegian is a bonus, but not necessary
