Qualifications (varies by role)

• Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in your field (e.g., IT, law, conservation, policy, communications, NGO management)

• Proven track record of delivering quality work in your area of expertise

• Experience working in NGOs, non-profits, or international projects (preferred but not required)

• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace, or similar

• For DPO roles: strong understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations

• Law & Policy: Environmental law, wildlife protection legislation, policy drafting, advocacy strategy

• DPO - Data Protection Officer: GDPR compliance, privacy policies, data processing, and security

• NGO Development & Management: Fundraising strategy, donor relations, impact measurement, compliance

• Conservation Science & Research: Biology, ecology, community engagement programs

• Communications & Media: Content creation, campaign management, social media strategy

• Project & Grant Management: Proposal writing, partner outreach, donor reporting

• Join online team meetings with global professionals

• Apply your expertise to active projects in your specialty area

• Help design and implement policies, systems, and solutions that protect wildlife and support communities

• Strengthen our global advocacy for conservation

• Specifically contribute to tackling the urgent elephant crisis in Sri Lanka
