We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Rig Manager to join our onshore Team. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Hold overall responsibility for the management and performance of the assigned rig.
• Ensure rig operations comply with all relevant rules, regulations, safety and quality standards, maintenance protocols, contractual obligations, and budgetary constraints.
• Oversee rig move preparations and coordinate meetings to ensure safe and efficient relocation.
• Oversee all onshore logistics related to the rig, including equipment, personnel, and supply chain.
• Attend Client meetings and follow up 3rd party requirements for the rig.
• Monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Continuously drive organizational development, process improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives across the rig team.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong emphasis on drilling operations.
• Proven leadership abilities, with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary and diverse teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of drilling procedures, equipment, and industry-standard safety protocols.
• Proficiency in software and tools commonly used in drilling operations.
• Demonstrated experience in operations within Norwegian waters as well as in international environments.
• Fluency in both English and Scandinavian languages, spoken and written.
