Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Discipline

Location: Oslo, Stavanger, or Trondheim

Role overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer for mechanical disciplines to oversee planning, quality assurance, and execution of maintenance activities. This role involves managing equipment maintenance, coordinating with offshore discipline leads, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, quality-check, and execute maintenance of mechanical equipment, including procurement of materials, testing, and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and company standards related to maintenance.
• Maintain quality in work order planning and execution, including campaign and vendor maintenance for relevant equipment, in collaboration with the offshore Discipline Responsible.
• Coordinate and follow up assigned maintenance jobs and optimize maintenance and maintenance plans (annual plan and two-week work order plan).
• Collaborate with the Technical Discipline Responsible regarding PM program changes and help in planning larger, complex maintenance jobs for mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, trade certificate, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Operational offshore experience is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical discipline equipment.
• Practical knowledge of equipment and offshore facilities is advantageous.
• Understanding of HSE considerations on offshore facilities, including technical, operational, and human factors.
• Fluent in both English and Norwegian.
