About the Assignment

We are seeking a Payroll RFP Consultant for one of our clients. You will support and lead a full Request for Proposal (RFP) process for selecting a new payroll vendor or renegotiating an existing payroll service contract.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a structured and transparent RFP process for payroll services.
• Establish strong governance and maintain clear decision-making documentation.
• Capture functional and technical requirements from payroll stakeholders.
• Review existing payroll documentation, including OPMs, Change Orders, Service and Wage Type Catalogues, and prior project materials.
• Analyze the current vendor contract and evaluate the system landscape for improvements.
• Benchmark the setup against Nordic payroll standards and integrate union agreement requirements across Business Units.
• Consolidate insights into a comprehensive RFP requirements package.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and provide objective selection support, including reference checks.
• Coordinate alignment across HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement throughout the process.
• Lead Q&A sessions and workshops with potential vendors.

Who You Are

• Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing payroll vendor RFP activities.
• Strong knowledge of Nordic payroll vendors and market practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of Nordic payroll legislation and operational payroll practices.
• Experience working with complex payroll integrations (e.g., Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, payroll systems, shift planning tools).
  
• Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage.
