Want to experience the energy industry from the inside and see first-hand how Shell works to deliver more value with less emissions? As a summer intern in Norske Shell, you will gain new skills by working on real life challenges, while collaborating and learning from experienced colleagues.

Internships 2026

• Duration: 8 weeks from 15 June to 7 August 2026

• Work location: Stavanger, Aukra or Kristiansund

• Application deadline: 4 January 2026

What we are looking for

• Candidates working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at Universities in Norway.

• Students from a broad range of disciplines will be considered, including but not limited to discipline engineering -- civil, electrical, instrument/automation, mechanical, petroleum, industrial economics, science, process, production chemistry, geoscience and digital/IT.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent in English.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Learner mindset, self-starter and positive attitude.

• Digital skills are a plus.

• 8 weeks internship working in integrated teams, with deliveries supporting Norske Shell’s strategic goals.

• You will be part of a group of summer interns participating in Norske Shell’s internship program, which includes both professional and social activities.

• Norske Shell interns in Stavanger will be part of Summerhub hosted by Næringsforeningen.

• Housing allowance may apply for those that need to rent accommodation.

We conduct background checks according to our routines on all final candidates. We will ask candidates to disclose information about potential ties to high-risk and sanctioned countries.

We aim to conduct interviews during January & February, either face to face or virtually depending on your location. All applicants will receive feedback within 20th February 2026.
