As a 2nd Officer (2/O), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. You will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer in all aspects of navigation, cargo operations, and maintenance. Key responsibilities:

1. Assist the Chief Officer in all aspects of vessel operations, including navigation, cargo handling, and maintenance.
2. Maintain accurate navigational charts and publications, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
3. Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the crew, promoting a culture of safety and awareness on board.
4. Monitor and maintain the vessel's stability, ensuring proper ballasting and trim at all times.
5. Assist in the planning and execution of anchor handling and towing operations.
6. Supervise the deck crew during mooring and unmooring operations, ensuring safe and efficient procedures are followed.
7. Maintain accurate records of all cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and stowage.
8. Assist in the preparation of voyage plans, taking into account weather conditions, port restrictions, and vessel capabilities.
9. Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment and ensure all firefighting and lifesaving equipment is in good working order.
10. Assist in the training and development of junior officers and crew members.

Requirements:

• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a 2nd Officer on offshore vessels.
• Proficiency in navigational and cargo handling equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Excellent knowledge of international regulations and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with anchor handling and towing operations.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging weather conditions.
• Valid STCW certificates, including Basic Safety Training and Medical First Aid.
